Travel Recommendations

LaGuardia (LGA), John F. Kennedy (JFK), and Newark Liberty International (EWR) airports are the most convenient and directly accessible to Manhattan. All three offer a number of ground transportation options, but it is wise to arrive with a plan that best fits your needs. The most affordable option is public transit, which will involve at least one transfer from the airport to a nearby station. Rideshare apps such as Uber and Lyft cost about $65 to $90 for a trip to Midtown, and expect a lead time of at least 20 minutes for your driver to arrive.

Airports

The Intercontinental New York Barclay Hotel is a three-minute cosmopolitan walk from Grand Central Terminal. It is one of several historic hotels developed in the district newly christened “Terminal City” with the reconstruction of Grand Central Depot as Grand Central Terminal. This followed the electrification of the New York Central Railroad, previously operated by steam locomotives. The Commodore, the Roosevelt, and the Biltmore were among the other hotels developed in the area at the time.

Train Stations

Bold choice, but to each their own.  ParkWhiz offers parking a number of various options near the wedding venue. Valet parking at the hotel for a standard vehicle is $90.00 plus taxes for 24 hours and $130.00 plus taxes for 36 hours, with no in or out privileges. SUVs and oversized vehicles are $110.00 plus taxes for 24 hours and $150.00 plus taxes for 36 hours.
